DMU is now looking to recruit an enthusiastic, pro-active and self-motivated Associate Project Manager (Business Change) to support the management of key institutional projects that will promote improvement and enhance our performance across some key areas of activity.Working within the wider Organisation Development service, you will ensure that staff and students are considered at the heart of every project.
This role sits within our Corporate Portfolio Management Office (CPMO), working alongside the Strategic Portfolio Manager and Business Change Project Managers to deliver an excellent service in robust programme and project management for our major change and improvements. As part of our CPMO offer, you will also play a key role in building capacity and confidence in project management across the university providing advice, guidance and support to faculties and directorates on the delivery of their own changes and improvements.
The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting the coordination of projects which achieve business change and improvements in a large organisation. You will have supported and organised project teams which contribute to structured and clear planning, pro-active management of risk and issues and careful management of stakeholder communications. You will have knowledge and a keen interest in utilising project management tools and techniques, naturally highly structured in your approach, with excellent planning and organisational skills. You will have an strong communication style with an ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
