We require Volunteer helpdesk co-ordinator to cover an increased workload on a temporary/ongoing basis. The roles will be based on site unless you have strong recent experience in the position. Any training required will be completed onsite.
You will be supporting for the following Somerset NHS Foundation Trust on a full-time basis, though part-time can be considered.
We need a volunteer helpdesk coordinator to provide support to the volunteer strategic planner and co-ordinator. The key function of the volunteers role is to help with the Covid vaccination programme.
As the volunteer helpdesk coordinator you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational functions of the service. This includes managing the volunteer rota, ensuring data is captured on activity and outcomes and supporting a team of volunteers to deliver a high quality service.
The ideal person will have a clinical background, understanding the wide ranging needs of patients and their families. They will have a passion for enabling high quality patient and carer experience and excellent communication skills.
This role offers a competitive salary of £11.20-£12.74 per hour dependent on experience plus holiday pay and you will be working via REED, who offer great benefits such as discounts, cashback offers and more, as well as weekly pay.
