Commercial Financial Analyst

Well established business in the heart of Essex are looking to expand their finance function. The function makes a significant contribution to business strategy through business initiatives designed to improve capital, cost efficiency, profitability and income generation.

This exciting new opportunity is responsible for

• Supporting the planning cycle and the resulting financial management of the budget and budget holders.

• Supporting the Commercial Cost Management and Analysis team to interact with Business Management Teams to discuss financial performance and risk/opportunities

• Working alongside the Commercial Business Partners, to help shape and input into the Financial Planning, Forecasting, Reporting and Analysis for the business. Ensuring insightful meaningful financial plans and forecast and rigorously monitoring of business performance

• Supporting the Commercial Business Partners to drive business profitability through in depth financial analysis and enable proactive management of Senior Management in financial decision making.

The ideal candidate will be part qualified or equivalent, with experience of working within a Finance team ideally with exposure to management accounts and the budget & forecasting cycle
