Senior Materials Engineer - Highways Products - Liverpool, Merseyside, UK
A new vacancy for a Senior Materials Engineer (Highways Products) with leading international provider of specialist services to the Construction industry. Based at the company's new offices in Liverpool, the Senior Materials Engineer (Highways Products) will be responsible for planning, coordinating and conducting assessments on a wide range of construction products & systems relating to Highways.
You will also be involved in preparing contract offers and estimates for the assessment of these products/systems. The job holder will be required to research and investigate aspects of construction product/system performance, working as part of a team of specialists and contributing to team and individual targets & objectives. Candidates with an understanding of the processes involved the testing and certification of Highways Materials will be of particular interest, although full training will be provided.
Key candidate requirements:
- Good understanding of Highways products & systems.
- Knowledge of relevant building regulations & standards.
- At least 5yrs industry experience working with construction products & systems.
- Minimum HNC/HND with in-depth understanding of relevant engineering or science discipline
