We have the opportunity to recruit an experienced EYFS teacher, who would be interested in full time working hours in a Reception class to start after February half term until July (possibly longer). The role is based in Preston.

The successful candidate will:
Be an excellent classroom practitioner
Have the ability to work on their own initiative, prioritising and managing time effectively
Have knowledge of current educational issues and the National Curriculum
Have the ability to implement successful strategy in order to raise attainment and make rapid progress
Have teaching skills which have already led to learners making good progress in the EYFS during a teaching career
Teach engaging and motivating lessons in a stimulating environment
Be committed to the development of self through appropriate CPD
Commit to the school's Covid-19 measures to ensure safety of all in the school

Planning lessons for all pupils
Differentiate to meet the needs of all pupils
Utilise Teaching Assistants when available
Commit to the wider life of the school and the community of the school
Safeguarding pupils

Essential requirements:
A teacher with Qualified Teacher Status
Recent experience working as a class teacher in an EYFS department
Up to date knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum and the pedagogy to support this
Strong behaviour management, strong classroom presence and awareness of school policies
Flexibility to attend after school INSET sessions, staff meetings and extra-curricular clubs
