Elevation Engineering and Manufacturing have a fantastic opportunity for a Process / Continuous Improvement Engineer to join a market leading manufacturing business based in North Lincolnshire.
This role provides an opportunity full of autonomy and development working alongside key members of the operational management team to deliver improvement projects from concept to site wide implementation. This role requires a hands-on engineer with knowledge of lean tools & CI techniques who has the ability to deliver live projects from the ground up as well as the develop the data to provide future opportunities.
The Continuous Improvement / Process Engineers duties and responsibilities will include:
-Liaising with the senior leadership to in scoping out prospective projects and the creation/delivery of details continuous improvement plans
-Champion LEAN principles (Six Sigma/Kaizen) and focus on added value and waste removal
-Ensure targeted improvements/lean projects are implemented in a sustainable manner, at optimum cost and achieve pre-determined ROI outcomes
-Also support with the company's continual progression towards a total preventative maintenance culture and OEE
-Ensure high levels of service are being driven across engineering personal and TP contractors in relation to time scales, health and safety
We are very keen to speak to you if you have the following skills and experience:
-Proven experience in a Continuous Improvement / Process Engineering position (Ideally 4 years +)
-Degree / HNC in a relatable engineering field
-Experience implementing lean/six sigma
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Results driven, inquisitive and a passion for learning
-Beneficial experience - chemical engineering, heavy industry, process engineering
