Our client located in Cheltenham, is a well-established business who has been providing technical solutions for some of the most successful businesses in Gloucestershire and beyond for more than 15 years. They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will initially be required to work from home with the expectation of transitioning into an office-based role.
Although the preference is for full time, the client will consider an individual who wants to work reduced hours and for this the salary will be pro-rata.
As the designated point of contact your responsibilities will be to always provide a positive experience while growing existing accounts by cross-selling products and services. You will be tasked with delivering tailored demonstrations and offer expert advice to deliver solutions. You will offer estimates for proposed work, make recommendations and draft commercial proposals and contracts.
Acting as the ultimate professional, you will actively record sales intelligence on all customers and identify opportunities for revenue growth and convert leads into new customers. Candidates who enjoy business development and securing new clients will be given full support to maximize their potential and achieve success in this capacity.
To be successful in this role you must have the ability to prioritise your workload and be able to multi-task, ensuring a high level of productivity at all times. You will have previous experience selling cloud solutions with the ability to quickly grasp technical product knowledge and associated technical language. Experience in an account management or B2B customer facing environment is essential due to the expectations of this role.
As the successful candidate, you radiate positivity, resilience, be a quick learner with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Your interpersonal skills, customer focus approach and adaptability will guarantee your success in this role. Utilising your outstanding account management skills, you will be proactive, personable, and comfortable talking on the phone in a quiet office.
