Job Details
Reed Education is actively recruiting for support staff to work on a temporary basis in Special Schools across the area. Work in this industry is increasing in volume and as such we are looking bring on new temporary staff to grow our provision.
Many schools rely heavily on being able to call on additional support staff on a temporary basis to relieve the pressure that absence and illness can cause. Being able to regularly utilise the same staff, especially in a special needs setting, is vital to the ongoing progress of the students.
You should be level 3 qualified in supporting teaching and learning, or have experience in a similar role previously that we are able to reference. Work is likely to increase in volume rapidly following students returning to school across the spring term, so you should be available to start as soon as that begins. Ideally you will work on a full time basis, but part time availability will be considered too.
You will earn around £60 per day for temporary assignments, occasionally more for specialist or specific roles. Average earnings when schools are open as normal can be up to £350 per week if you are full time in a specialist role. You will have a specialist consultant within Reed Education assigned to you, managing your work allocation and proactively searching for the most appropriate roles based on your aspirations.
For more information please get in touch with us here by clicking "Apply". Your details will come directly to us in the branch and we will get back to you the same day wherever possible to discuss in more detail and start the registration process. Registrations are now taking place remotely, where possible over video call. We look forward to meeting with you.
