We are looking for an exceptional Component and Document Control Engineer who can...
* Maintain our component database, identify and validate suitable component replacements for obsolete or long lead time items
* Oversee the document control processes - maintain / control product documentation and technical design files and help drive improvements
* Trouble-shoot systems and/or manufacturing issues
* Design and set up test benches as well as deploy Automated Test Equipment for electronics platforms
* Define processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters to identify, analyze and resolve system design weaknesses
* Implement change activities as part of the teams engineering change process
What you will bring to the team, along with your fascination for low volume but complex production processes is:
* University education or equivalent experience in Electronic Engineering
* Experience of certification requirements i.e. NRTL, CE, UKCA, RoHS, EMC
* Excellent understanding of Component Life Cycle management
* Troubleshooting of systems and/or manufacturing issues
* Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis, 8D trouble shooting methodologies, Design for manufacture and Design for service
* Cross-functional team player with international mindset
