Your new role
You will maintain and monitor test systems in place and design PCB test fixtures. You will also have to strive for continuous improvement to make sure tools etc. are always performing to the best they can. You will producing detailed documentation in regards to your test solutions and will support the design team. You will also help to manage projects of new products from the design to production stage. You will work a day shift pattern of 37.5 hours per week.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will have to have worked in a similar test role before and preferably 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment consisting of electronics. Experience of software programming would be desirable as would soldering skills. You need a good understanding of test equipment, schematics and wiring diagrams and good problem solving skills. You will need a relevant qualification e.g. HNC and be able to use ATE's.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of approximately £30,000 DOE and will receive 33 days annual leave including bank holidays. You will also gain company benefits such as pension contributions, free parking and a few more additions.
