Warner recruitment are excited to be working with a local, well-established business based in Northampton to Recruit for a Financial Analyst. Due to exciting growth plans into 2021 this is a brand-new Permanent role to support with the expected increase in workload. The successful candidate will ideally be Fully/ Part Qualified in ACCA/ CIMA/ACA/ Qualified by Experience.
The team are friendly, welcoming and hardworking; they are so excited about having some additional help from the new Financial Analyst/ Financial Planning & Analysis Controller.
This role has been created to assist with the financial planning and analysis of the company, allowing the company to make well-informed commercial decisions

This role has been created to assist with the financial planning and analysis of the company, allowing the company to make well-informed commercial decisions
Duties include:
- Ensure accurate financial reporting
- Reporting on financial performance for regular Leadership Team reviews
- Ensure consistency and standardisation of reporting across all subsidiary entities
- Consolidate Group's past performance
- Forecasting profit, financial status, and cashflow
- Collating information from each subsidiary's location
- Analyse Group's past results/ performance
- Comparing budgets and forecasts
- Variance analysis,
- Identify trends
- Make recommendations for improvements
- Perform financial forecasting
- Reporting and metrics tracking
- Business intelligence activities
- Provide analysis of forecasts
- Recommend actions for optimisation
- Analyse and design appropriate capital and financial structure for the Group based on Group's financial strategy
- Assist to obtain funding from capital or money market for the Group
- Maintain and monitor for healthy financial credits
- Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation
- Creating forecasts and models
- Analyse of financial data
- Creation of financial models for decision making support
- Conduct and/or validate Financial Feasibility for Group's new project and investment
- Identify gaps and drive Group's improvements
- including but not limited to process improvement
- Creation of standard and ad-hoc, reports, tools
Person:
- Qualified/ Part Qualified in ACCA/ CIMA/ACA/ Qualified by Experience
- Strong communicator
- Good attention to detail
- Experience in working with and presenting to senior executive
- Advanced Excel skills
- Able to work on your own initiative
- Strong financial modelling and problem solving experience
- Strong quantitative and analytical competency
- Experience of working in a similar role
