Purchase Ledger Clerk

Axon Moore are recruiting on behalf of a Private Equity backed business based in Blackpool. Due to continued growth, my client is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and friendly finance team, within a successful business.

Candidates must be able to manage a busy workload, thrive within a fast-paced environment and process end to end purchase ledger at a high volume.

Responsibilities include:

- Matching, batching and coding invoices
- Checking for and investigating discrepancies on invoices
- Query resolution both internally and externally
- Sending remittances
- Preparing for payment runs
- Supporting with statement and bank reconciliations
- Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
