English Teacher- Independent School
Location: London
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temporary, or Temp to Perm
Salary: Competitive with additional benefits
Our clients are highly regarded Independent Schools in Central London, and they are looking to appoint experienced English Teachers on temporary or temp to perm contracts as soon as possible.
The schools are centrally located, with outstanding facilities in-house, and full utilisation of the nearby parks and public spaces.
The ideal English Teacher will need to have some experience teaching English at either prep or senior school level. The position of English Teacher is also well suited to NQT's as well as experienced English Teachers. Pupils sit a range of examinations including, Scholarship, 11+, GCSE and A Level, as such it is desirable that the successful English Teacher will have experience in this.
Our clients expect that aside from teaching English, the English Teacher will play an active role in the pastoral life of the school, for example as a form tutor. A English Teacher with experience working within an Independent School, and teaching English to a high level, is desirable as our clients have strong academic focuses.
A DBS on the update service is desirable, but not essential.
If you do have the relevant requirements and would like to be considered for the role of English Teacher please send through a copy of your CV, or call Mhairi at Connaught for more information.
