Job Description - Retail Trainer

Salary - £22,932 - £26,371

45hr weekly contract (including lunch breaks)

Purpose:

The Retail Trainer is accountable for delivering business goals, through alignment with the company's brand and ethos, inspiring inspirational customer service, colleague and customer training compliance and execution while having an unswerving desire to introduce products that enrich customers connected lives through unrivalled interactions. The Trainer role is a core role within the store. The role is pivotal in all areas, from product knowledge or systems guidance to colleague observations to check the Customer Engagement Model is being used to delivering new colleague induction programmes to demonstrate the culture and the vision of the business.

Responsible for:
  • Own development through internal training programs
  • Own knowledge of processes and systems
  • Health & Safety
  • Customer training and Customer measures
  • Store Standards training
  • Colleague product knowledge
  • New product or category knowledge launches

Evidencable Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in people training, building and delivery of content and tracking of training
  • Communication and influencing skills that generate commitment and loyalty from peers and team
  • The ability to prioritise workloads
  • A commercially minded approach to training
  • The ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and to promote the benefits of change to those around you
  • Previous retail experience is ideal but not essential
  • A love for all things tech
  • Constantly challenges own knowledge and drives own learning
  • Strong MS 365 skills Deliverables
  • Full store training
  • People observations
  • Health and Safety compliance
  • Building and delivery of training plans
  • KPI performance of the teams
  • Leading from the front in all areas of the business
