At TCM and FCSL, we have over 100 years of experience in supporting people living with Dementia those that are elderly and infirm, those living with Mental Health challenges, Learning Disabilities and on the autism spectrum as well as children, young people and adults with a range of disabilities or complex needs. We provide care and support, promoting independence enablement and reablement to those people living within the community so that each individual is empowered to live as independently as their specific condition allows in order to fulfil specific choice.
About the role
We wish to appoint a Head of Quality and Compliance.
Reporting to the National Operations Director, you will lead the quality assurance of the organisation. You will ensure that a person-centred approach is at the heart of the operation for all staff, volunteer's, and service delivery. Empowering people to constantly strive for outstanding service delivery. You will play a key role in devising and leading change, able to work with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels to ensure the company culture for networking and professional practice is consistently achieved.
About the candidate
The successful candidate will be a robust and effective leader, ensuring that the organisiation is monitoring and reporting on quality, safety, outcomes and compliance in line with the CQC requirements and companies strategic plan.

Essential Skills & Qualifications
Relevant postgraduate qualification in nursing or other relevant professional group / experience.
Evidence of continued professional development and/or certified qualifications including in management skills, quality and risk management, data protection (post GDPR)
Sound knowledge of a Quality Agenda and experience in taking the lead on Quality Compliance.
Current knowledge of best / evidenced based practice.
Knowledge and experience of risk management.
Knowledge of Compliance requirements - CQC reporting, GDPR, Information Governance, COVID.
Sound knowledge and experience in compliance reporting.
Experience of managing and writing policies, managing audit programmes, writing reports, analysing data bases and delivering information in accessible formats
Experience of embedding learning across teams.
Experience of managing CQC inspections (or similar) and ensuring compliance.
Experience in Clinical Leadership.
Experience of working with quality dashboard
Experience of managing / delivering a quality assurance framework.
Visible leadership and management skills promoting teamwork and working collaboratively to develop and motivate staff and enhance standards and practice. Ability to manage change in the workplace.
Ability to make concise decisions, analyse information and take a thematic approach to inform safety, quality standards and learning.
Strong planning and organisation skills - well organised, able to manage projects, deliver standards, meet deadlines, prioritise own work and that of others; driven to improve and innovate.
Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with complex situations, including challenging conversations ensuring a good evidence is documented.
Excellent IT / Computer Skills including writing reports with graphs, spreadsheets and database.
Well-developed networking skills with record of success in partnership working with other agencies and professionals.
