Job Details

Your new role:
Nigel Wright are delighted to be supporting a successful business in their search for a Credit Controller. If you have previous experience in credit control and are looking for a new challenge, then this could be the role for you.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Ensuring all customers of different types pay promptly
  • Chasing through phone calls/email debtors that have gone overdue
  • Logging details of each chase made on system
  • Maintaining customer credit limits and agreeing new credit limits with sales team where necessary
  • Swiftly processing and resolving any customer queries and raising credit notes where required
  • Allocation and posting of customer receipts and keeping debtors book tidy
  • Ad hoc duties
  • Aiding management in developing new systems and procedures
  • Develop relationships with customers
  • Dealing with queries

What they are looking for:
  • Experience working in credit control in a medium/large company
  • Strong IT systems and excel skills
  • Experience with Sage 200/Credit Hound system (preferred)
  • Experience with some accounts admin duties such as purchase ledger (desirable)
  • Flexible and good work ethic
  • Excellent communication and organisaton skills
