Covering the South West region, this Marketing Manager position is with a well-known national brand. The position is strategic, with help from external agencies and you'll be owning a significant budget to address key commercial objectives for the area. The marketing for this area of the business could do with a bit of a revamp and some rejuvenation so hopefully, you're up for a positive challenge!
Your role will be to deliver end-to-end campaigns, with the majority of the currently budget going to digital marketing. Your key objective will be to drive ROI on marketing campaigns by enhancing brand perception, driving customer acquisition & retention and running promotions.
You'll be in a competitive market where differentiation or customer proposition is key so you'll need to take an overall view of the market, understanding what you're up against and demonstrating value to customers. If you have experience in defining propositions, this will definitely be beneficial.
Your background would ideally include working as a Marketing Manager, Senior Marketing Executive or Account Manager and above in a marketing agency. Its a role in the B2C sector so experience with working on multi-channel campaigns in retail, leisure or travel would be an ideal fit but this is not absolutely essential.
The organisation is fairly large, which has it's benefits and particularly in the form of the benefits package which is comprehensive, including a share scheme, life assurance and lots of other smaller initiatives. In any large business, stakeholder management is key and it's no different here. You'll be reporting into the Regional Director and will be liaising across the business to improve the overall customer offering. You'll be encouraged to share your ideas and to get them over the line, you'll need some influencing skills and the ability to back up your opinions with data.
The absolute necessities for this role are:
- Full marketing campaign management experience in a B2C or marketing agency setting.
- Strong internal stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrable success in delivering a positive ROI on marketing campaigns.
