What will you be doing?

You will be joining RPS's delivery team as a Solution Architect working on a significant transformation programme implementing logistics automation across a key area of the business. The high level architecture is mainly in place; therefore, this role is more detail orientated, working with the test/assurance function, engineering teams and third party suppliers to ensure smooth delivery.

Using your extensive solution architecture skills, you will guide stakeholders' decisions with a strong assurance aspect.


In depth and current knowledge of a wide range of Information Technologies, with experience of their integration and configuration.

Proven experience in the planning, architecture, high level design and implementation of one or more of the following aspects of solution architecture: Services, Applications, Integration or Data.

Experience of defining the technical architecture design principles and planning, design, and implementation of complex systems architectures.

Practical experience of planning, designing, and implementing applications and data in a complex distributed environment.

Experience in systems delivery including analysis, design, implementation, testing and support.

Experience of going through the transformation from Waterfall to Agile delivery methodologies as well as working with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence

A background working within Logistics or a Consultancy would be ideal

This role will be initially a 6 months remote contract role with potential extension for longer term.
