Salary: £50,000 - £80,000

Job Profile:

A London branch of a first-class foreign bank looks for a project finance/structured finance banker to join their Structured Finance Department to conduct due diligence (credit analysis) of new project finance transactions and investment proposals for Branch's credit committee.

• To conduct due diligence (credit analysis) on new project finance transactions and to make investment proposal for Branch's credit committee.
• To monitor existing project finance transactions the Branch invested
• More than 2 years' experience of Project finance transactions. Front team/ Credit reviewer)
• Renewable energy and/or PPPs experience highly advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• To conduct due diligence (credit analysis) on new project finance transactions and to make investment proposal for Branch's credit committee.
• To manage documentation process of project finance transactions with Branch's legal team
• To monitor existing project finance transactions the Branch invested
• To put internal credit ratings on project finance transactions regularly and ad-hoc basis (if credit event occurs).
• To attend lender meetings for monitoring purpose if needed.
• To conduct research on various topics and produce reports such as regulatory framework in the EU area related with the Branch credit portfolio as and when required on ad-hoc basis.
• To understand the Bank's credit risk management framework, especially the Bank's Internal Rating System.
• To attend meetings with relevant stakeholders such as borrowers, sponsors, and FAs if needed.
• To assist a middle-back team in Structured Finance Div., such as KYC when closing the transactions, funding request to the Branch's treasury, and drawdown over the course of loan life.
• To assist the senior manager with internal Branch reporting when required.
• To update the Policy & Procedures of Structured Finance Div. as and when needed.
• To conduct regular/occasional internal self-check.
• To provide general clerical support to the Senior Manage including, but not limited to, photocopying, filing, record keeping, mailing, scheduling and messaging.
• Such other duties as the management may, from time to time, reasonably require.

Requirements:

• More than 2 years of Project Finance experience required.
• Renewable Energy and/or PPPs experience highly advantageous.
• Analysis of European and/or UK offshore wind project finance either as a front officer or a middle officer is highly advantageous.
• Experience in real estate non-recourse finance is advantageous.
