We are delighted to have been exclusively appointed in the search for an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician. Our client is a global engineering and manufacturing organisation, well thought of and respected in their fields of expertise, and one that because of its global footprint has been able to grow despite the spectre of Brexit, and has been supportive of the fight against Covid-19.
To achieve its strategic aims and committing to further investment in their UK capabilities, this organisation is expanding the engineering functions and the role of Electrical and Instrumentation Technician is an important hire. You will be a key member of the team that will support all aspects of electrical and instrumentation work in the plant, maintaining and serving equipment both during and outside normal working hours.

Key duties:
- Carry out workloads under the day to day schedule
- Check and ensure optimum performance of all production machinery.
- Repair production equipment whilst keeping downtime to a minimum
- Make recommendations for future service/repair
- Follow and work within British Standards and associated codes of practice
- Overseeing trainees and apprentices
- Make recommendations for future training programmes.
Requirements:
- An ability to react and adapt to the fast-changing needs of the business
- Ability to communicate and correspond at a variety of levels and across a range of stakeholders
- Knowledge of regulations
