Cost Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are working exclusively with a successful, internationally renowned, design & build company to recruit a Commercial Project Engineer.

My client is a well-established engineering firm, who deliver turnkey solutions across heavy engineering and civil sectors.

The Commercial Project Engineer's duties will be similar to that of an Assistant Quantity Surveyor and will include:

* Attend client meetings and agree contractual obligations for projects
* Write commercial reports and projections
* Maintain project costs
* Track changes and make claims where appropriate
* Work closely with technical and production teams to ensure compliance with contracts

Elevation Recruitment Group would be keen to speak to candidates with the following skills & experience:

* Qualified in a commercial / quantity surveying discipline
* Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering would be desirable
* Experience working within NEC contracts
* Background as a Junior or Assistant Quantity Surveyor
* History of working with large construction clients or on design and build (engineering) projects
