Our client is a leading global financial services company with a successful UK operation. They are seeking a high calibre Junior Business Manager to lead a small team covering their UK consumer business. This is a very visible, broad and challenging role, focused on leading a team scoping, analysing and delivering support on business strategy, projects and operational governance.
Key responsibilities include: developing, mentoring and leading a small team of Business Analysts/Managers; acting as a strategic partner to key business heads; facilitating and leading on key business management matters; leading projects to support on business strategy and operational governance; developing the appropriate management reporting; and delivering appropriate communication across the business.
The successful candidate will possess proven business managment experience within financial services. Asset management experience would be very useful but is not essential. Candidates will also need leadership / team management experience, outstanding communication, stakeholder management, analytical and influencing skills together with the ability to prioritise and deliver to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment.
