We are delighted to have been exclusively appointed in the search for an Engineering Team Leader. Our client is a global engineering and manufacturing organisation, well thought of and respected in their fields of expertise, and one that because of its global footprint has been able to grow despite the spectre of Brexit, and has been supportive of the fight against Covid-19.
To achieve its strategic aims and committing to further investment in their UK capabilities, this organisation is expanding the engineering functions and the role of Engineering Team Leader is a key hire. Reporting to senior management, this person will manage the engineering team on a day to day basis and perform the following duties:

Reporting to senior management, this person will manage the engineering team on a day to day basis and perform the following duties:
- Ensure all work meets compliance and legislative standards
- Manage the Mechanical team in a way that allows efficient completion/delivery of work-scope
- Design and implement action plans and manage maintenance routines
- Manage life-cycle of project work and document accordingly
- Hire, train and develop team members taking responsibility for L&D requirements
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders
- Project management and team management experience
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems
- Experience with LEAN Manufacturing techniques
- Understanding of technical drawings
