Commercial Gas Engineer

Commercial Gas Engineer required for our client based in the Northampton / Kettering area, they are a Mechanical Contractor who supply both commercial and domestic clientele with contracts covering the service and maintenance of boilers and appliances. They currently cover areas such as Kettering, Northampton, Peterborough, Bedford and Huntingdon so the engineer should be based around this patch.

The Commercial Gas Engineer will be tasked with the service, maintenance, fault finding and attending breakdowns of commercial boilers throughout sites such as; schools, universities, care homes etc. The Commercial Gas Engineer should have experience with taking gas safety checks, testing and purging of pipework and working on direct and indirect fired appliances. Most of the work covered will be commercially biased however, the Gas Service Engineer will occasionally be required to work on domestic sized systems.

The Commercial Gas Engineer / Domestic Gas Engineer should hold full ACS Commercial Gas Tickets and full ACS Domestic Gas qualifications, including COCN1 or CODNC01, CIGA1, CDGA1 etc. Any extra industry based qualifications would be seen as advantageous.

Commercial And Domestic Gas Engineer Position Remuneration

Salary - £34,000 - £38,000
Working hours 8am - 4:30pm
Travel paid after 30 minutes
