Job Details
We have an exciting opportunity for two Careers Advisers to join the existing student services team, with responsibility for the provision of careers and employability information, advice and guidance, with the aim of raising student aspiration. A recognised careers qualification such as Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance & Development or a Level 7 Post Graduate Diploma in Careers Guidance & Development is essential, as is a good understanding of the local and national learning and work opportunities available to 16 to 19 year olds.
The successful candidates will have previous experience of working in careers guidance preferably within the Further Education sector. The ability to be creative, solution focussed and to network effectively with key stakeholders is essential. Please note that the successful candidates will be required to work across both sites (Truro and Penzance).
We offer a generous package with benefits including 40 days annual leave (academic) and up to 28 days (Support roles) plus bank holidays and College closure days, teacher pension scheme or LGPS, relocation package, free on-site parking and a variety of on-site benefits and discounts.
