My client are a fast growing and award-online retailer and are now recruiting for a Marketing Manager to join their team.
Your role will be to continue building on our success to date, by developing and refining the brand.
Social media and digital marketing are both target areas of expansion for my client and the ideal candidate should bring in new streams of promotion across all social media and email platforms.
I am looking for a motivated, creative and confident individual to join the friendly team in central Newcastle to help promote their brand across the UK, USA, EU and eventually worldwide.
Whilst the role will come with specific daily tasks, the ideal candidate should keep in mind that my client are a fast- growing team that prides their selves in supporting colleagues in any way that they can.

The role can be broadly split in to 4 areas: Email marketing, Social Media promotion, Customer service, Public and press relations (PR)
Email Marketing Key Skills: Graphic design (preferred but not essential), attention grabbing subject headlines.
My client currently sell the majority of their stock through their own website, online eco retailers and amazon.co.uk. By mixing great visuals with your excellent communication skills you will take charge of sending weekly updates to the list of 70k subscribers.
The content will primarily be sales offers of the range but may also include tips and advice, news, competitions, and interesting stories.
You will come up with attention grabbing subject headlines, find engaging imagery and connect with the consumer mindset to drive clicks and traffic to the site.
Great graphic design is key to generating a successful email campaign.
Social Media Promotion Key skills: Engaging current affairs or spa related content, creativity/wit/humour, professional manner when engaging with customers.
PR Key skills: Enthusiasm, persistence, professionalism, strong communication
Task List : • 1 Facebook post per day (plus replying to conversational posts off the back of this) • 2 Blog post per week • 1 Segmented Marketing email per week • 1 Customer case study per month to be emailed as general interest to our mailing list • Customer service emails and phone calls - daily • PR, responding to journalist requests and making direct contact with news outlets in peak times of year. • SEO Content Writing / FAQ Pages • Learn PPC (internal training)
Required Skills: • Strong written English and creative writing • Ability to research and absorb new information quickly • Good understanding of using internet-based tools • Flexible approach to work • Self-motivated and able to think independently • Exceptional communication skills both internally and externally of the business • Problem solving attitude and ability to take everything in stride Useful Skills (preferred but not essential): • Great graphic design skill • Experience with Mail Chimp or similar email campaign software •
