Are you an experienced I.T. teacher seeking a new challenge?
Dunbar Education is working for a mainstream secondary school based in Kettering to recruit a successful I.T. teacher to join them in June on a permanent basis.
As the Information Technology Teacher, you will be responsible to teach the subject to years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. You will provide them with the knowledge and skills they need to achieve, providing extra support when necessary. You must be a thorough teacher who monitors all student's progress, ensuring tasks are completed and feedback is given. You will plan lessons in line with the UK curriculum and will always ensure a safe environment for the students. You will use your rapport building skills to maintain positive discipline in the classroom.
The ideal I.C.T Teacher will have a technical degree and recent experience teaching within a secondary school. You will have adequate knowledge of hardware and software.
It is important for the school's I.T. teacher to be approachable and on-hand for students when they have general IT questions to help them with homework and in other subject areas.
