Job Details

Our client are a friendly and busy construction company based in Billericay, who are looking for an experienced Finance Assisant to join their friendly and accounts team. Experience using Xero Accountancy Software and the CIS process is preferred. The ideal candidate must have Xero Accountancy software experience and knowledge of the CIS process.

Main Duties:
  • Processing and raising purchase invoices and demands
  • Raising projects on Xero
  • General Administration to support Finance tasks
  • Check received payments
  • Manage suppliers account
  • Annual statutory accounts and tax return preparation including liaison with local auditors
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Payroll, coordination of banking and petty cash arrangements for the office, including Bank reconciliation on a weekly basis.
  • Balance sheet analysis
  • To take on other project work from time to time
  • Quarterly reporting to MD and line managers
  • Assist with preparing year-end and VAT returns

  • Must have Xero Accountancy software experience
  • CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) experience (Preferred)
  • Excellent Time Management
  • Attention to detail
  • High initiative, Work well under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent time management skills
  • Computer literate of Microsoft Office
