Job Details
Currently recruiting a Finance Manager for an organisation with an excellent reputation based in Cambridge. Working closely with the Director of Finance you will be responsible for ensuring that financial reporting information produced is timely, transparent and accurate, to enable clear financial management.
This is a vital role which will provide both support to the Director of Finance, together with operational management of key parts of the Finance services, resulting in the delivery of efficient services to support the organisational vision.
You will be responsible for development of the finance system and reporting, Sales ledger, the Management accounting team and Purchase Ledger.
To be considered for this pivotal role you will be a finance professional and will be CIMA, ACA, ACCA or CIPFA qualified or equivalent with experience of successfully managing financial functions and working with devolved budget holders. You should be able to demonstrate strong management and leadership skills which empower staff to perform to their full potential and drive financial awareness and improvement across the organisation.
You will have drive and ambition and the ability to work both independently when required and to bring the team together to achieve objectives. You should have a strong commercial awareness, be able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation and ideally you will have previous experience of developing and delivering financial training.
It is essential that you have the ability and interest to be involved in the day to day operations of the department.
