Management Accountant

We are working exclusively with an entrepreneurial SME who are recruiting for a sole charge Accountant to manage the day to day finance function, from transactional finance through to drafting management and year end accounts. This is an growing, owner managed business where you will be reporting directly to the MD and working closely with their external Accountants. This role would suit a hands on, self motivated accountant who is keen to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Duties:

Managing the day to day finance function including:

• Managing the purchase Ledger - Processing invoices and ensuring timely payments
• Sales ledger - raising sales invoices and managing credit control
• VAT returns
• Bank management - Bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, expenses
• Preparing financial analysis / reports to Director
• Monitoring cashflow
• Drafting accounts for external accounts review

Skills / Experience:

• Experienced Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper
• Xero experience would be desirable
• Trustworthy and able to work autonomously
• Attention to detail and proactive approach
