Job Role Due to continued growth, our client based near St Neots currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Fabrication Manager to join their team and oversee the development of the workshop. This is a pivotal role in driving the team and the business forward with the chance to implement your own systems whilst building a modern working environment.
· Leading a team of Fabrication Engineers to ensure each person delivers optimum performance · Utilising previous experience and with strong knowledge of welding/machining techniques identify and manage continuous improvement plans · Instrumental with new projects; overseeing new product introductions & new processes · Allocating workload to fabrication team, ensuring adherence to production schedule · Carrying out PDR's and return to work meetings
·Previous experience working in a manufacturing / production / fabrication workshop environment ·Must have strong knowledge/welding & machining experience ·The ability to implement change and continual improvement ·Pocess strong man-management skills ·Proven experience dealing with projects and delivering objectives
Hours of Work and Pay
