Our client is a leading global private equity firm headquartered in Europe with a very international business. They are seeking a London based Data Privacy Manager to develop and implement their global data privacy and data protection policy. The candidate will need to be a fluent French speaker
Key responsibilities include: develop a global policy and compliance framework to ensure compliance with GDPR and data privacy legislation, working closely with IT teams to ensure compliance with data privacy legislation, maintaining relevant knowledge of data privacy regulatory change, reviewing internal policies and procedures on an ongoing basis and communicating to investors and relevant authorities on privacy matters and questions.
The successful candidate will possess previous experience in a data privacy or GDPR related role, either in an in-house capacity or as a consultant or legal adviser. Experience within financial services is very useful but candidates with wider sector expertise will also be considered. Candidates will also need strong stakeholder management skills, excellent verbal communication and writing skills and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines in a pressurised environment.
Please note Fluency in French is an essential requirement in the role.
