Assistant Management Accountant Nottingham - Remote working initially Temporary - Initially circa 3 months
Your new role
A fantastic opportunity to join a public sector organisation based in Nottingham. Providing support to the Finance Business Partner and other senior members of the organisation, you will hold responsibility for supporting with the monthly management accounts, managing enquiries from budget holders, preparing accruals and prepayment journals and analysis of budget variance. You will work closely with IT Services assisting with budget monitoring and general financial support.
What you'll need to succeed
You should be AAT Qualified or Part-Qualified in ACCA or CIMA for success in this role. You should have previous experience of working within a financial environment, covering the duties listed above. Strong excel skills alongside the ability to analyse and interpret information is essential. A background within the public sector health environment is extremely beneficial, however not essential.
