Applications are welcome from suitably qualified individuals for four permanent substantive, full time consultant posts (40 hours per week). Part time working will be considered. Two consultant posts are based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh (RIE) and two are based at the Western General Hospital (WGH) in Edinburgh. Posts and will be paid in line with the pay and conditions of service remuneration of hospital medical and dental staff [NHS Circular: PCS(DD)2020/02

The post-holder will join a dynamic team of colleagues at RIE or WGH providing inpatient and outpatient services for patients in Lothian. Subspecialist interests are actively encouraged. More detailed departmental and specialty information can be found in the job descriptions available on the weblink below. The four posts will be interviewed by the same panel, with posts offered according to ranking at interview.
