Maintenance Electrician

The Best Connection is currently looking for recruit a Maintenance Electrician for a client based in East Ayrshire on a permanent basis.

Main duties for this role will include:

• Planned Preventive Maintenance on factory machinery
• Support the business to ensure breakdowns are addressed timely and efficiently
• Able to trouble shoot and problem solve engineering issues
• Update the computerised maintenance system

Successful candidates will have the following skills and abilities:

• Must be time served in an Electrical Engineering Discipline
• Hold 18th Edition qualification
• Have a strong understanding of PLC & Drive Systems would be an advantage
• Having knowledge of Fault Diagnosis on automatic control equipment

Shifts:

This role will involve shift patterns which will include day shift, back shift and nightshift however you will receive a shift allowance on top of your hourly rate.

Additional Benefits & Requirements

• 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
• Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
