Head of Shared Services - Finance

Due to growth and recent acquisitions the shared service offering is growing rapidly both in size and functionality. The role of Finance Shared Service Lead is a newly created position which will head up three main teams. P2P, O2C and R2R for end to end processing.

Reporting directly into the Director, this position will be responsible for people, processes, technology and master data. Due to complexities of recent acquisitions and technology upgrades this role will require a great deal of stakeholder management across different directorates to ensure there is an appetite for continuous improvement.

The successful applicant will be responsible for workforce planning, query resolution, process review and design, team development and ensuring companywide strategies are being met.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to take their next career step and grow with the shared service function as it develops. It would ideally suit someone who has worked in a number two role, looking for their first number one in an SSC environment.

Previous experience of working in a shared service or group finance environment is desirable as well and team development experience. Drive to develop strong external relationships and improve processes and procedures is essential.

Due to the ongoing pandemic this role will be homebased for the foreseeable future, with the view to return to the office c3 days per week later in the year. The organisation has a great culture of inclusion and welcomes any applicants.
