Risk, Patient Safety & Compliance Manager

Venn Group are currently working with an NHS organisation in the South East who are looking for a Risk, Patient Safety & Compliance Manager.

The Risk, Patient Safety & Compliance Manager will be responsible for:

• Supporting the intake of Product Complaints and distribution-related complaints
• This will involve liaison with our third party call centre, home care delivery services, Logistic Service Provider (LSP) and customers/patients
• The post holder will have a patient centred approach and will work in such a way as to help promote an open and transparent culture that actively improves clinical safety and quality
• Responsible for leading the day to day management of incidents and their review, identification and management of risk and compliance within the care group
• Working collaboratively with other managers including the MSE Patient Safety and Risk and Compliance teams to deliver an effective Clinical Governance Assurance Framework
• The post holder will be a member of key governance groups and will deputise for the Head of Department
• The post holder will provide line management to the Risk, Patient Safety & Compliance Coordinator

It is essential that Risk, Patient Safety & Compliance Manager must have the following skills and experience:

• Registered Midwife with current registration
• Root Cause Analysis training
• Knowledge of the components of governance, risk management and assurance function; current NHS national policies and standards
