Working for a scaling retailer that is growing customers by 30-50% month-on-month, the eCommerce Product Manager / Senior Product Manager / Product Owner involves bringing new services to market while continually shaping and improving the customer experience and conversion funnel.
This company is at an exciting stage, with a proven membership-based business model that provides ethically and sustainably sourced products to consumers and incredible prices. They moved to a new fulfilment facility mid-year and will open and new much larger distribution site later in 2021 to cope with scaling customer demand.
The eCommerce Product Manager / Senior Product Manager / Product Owner role will be remote based with occasional meet-up days in London when safe to do so.
The eCommerce Product Manager / Senior Product Manager / Product Owner will
-Lead a cross functional team of engineering, design, marketing and operations to develop features across the entire product, from acquisition to ops.
-Have ownership and responsibility for the product roadmap & prioritisation
-Take MVP products and services live and drive continual improvement when rolled out across the customer base
-Develop and enhance the membership/subscription model
-Overhaul the on-boarding journey
-Improve product discover and on-site merchandising, cross-sell and up-sell.
-Analyse onsite consumer behaviour, collect quant and qual insights, identifying problems & opportunities
-Creating a test and learn capability to continually improve new and existing products
-This will be primarily focussed on the eCommerce experience, but will also assist with back end systems such as inventory, third party integration, pick and pack Apps, etc.
Candidates for the eCommerce Product Manager / Senior Product Manager / Product Owner role must have:
-Prior product management experience in a transactional eCommerce environment
-Strong experience launching new products/features & improving /optimising the customer experience
-Experience working in a small fast paced environment
-Comfort with data, delving deep into qualitative research to gather valuable insights
-Comfortable discussing and understanding the building blocks of modern web applications with engineers
-Obsessive about the customer experience
