Management Accountant (6 month FTC)

Based: Bolton (some WFH)

Salary: highly dependent on experience. 6 month FTC with possible extension.

Our client is the largest provider in their industry across Europe. With a number of internal projects arising including investment, new system implementations and new product launches, they are looking for an experienced Accountant to join on a contract to work alongside the Finance team, ensuring the day to day finances are looked after.

We are looking for an experienced Accountant who can work autonomously and is a problem solver, able to communicate effectively and get the job done

Role:

• Working with the Financial Controller & Management Accountant to take on finance duties as assigned
• Assisting with system upgrade and finance improvements across the department/business
• Budgeting and forecasting duties
• Providing weekly business analysis and reporting to the Financial Controller and CFO
• Producing monthly management accounts and P&L. Assisting with statutory accounts production at year end
• Monthly management account analysis with P&L reporting
• Maintaining fixed asset register and balance sheet reconciliations
• Working with the wider finance team to ensure a smooth month and year end

Experience:

• Qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA
• Excellent analytical and numerical abilities, strong Excel skills are essential
• Able to work autonomously and in a team
• Experience of producing full management accounts and the above is essential
