Commercial Management Accountant

Simpson Judge is working on behalf of a client based in Bolton who are looking to appoint a Commercial Management Accountant into the team. This is the perfect role for an ACCA/CIMA finalist or a newly qualified accountant looking for a step up in an established organisation. This role is urgent, interviews are being carried out this week and applicants will need to be available at short notice.

Responsibilities:
• Preparation and production of monthly management accounting tasks - accruals, prepayments, overhead analysis, month end reporting
• Supporting and challenging Department Heads on profit improvement plans and monthly spend
• Daily reporting & investigating any usage issues
• Conduct monthly customer tracking reporting and investigating any variances on customer tracking reports
• Providing accurate monthly costings for every product sold and when required
• Providing accurate costings for every new product development project ready for presentation
• Conducting monthly costing runs on SAP
• Production of financial viability of promotional capacity requests
• Efficiency reporting
• Production of Forecast 2 Sales reporting monthly
• Building effective relationships with stakeholders and participate in Continuous Improvement teams
• Carry out Business Plan Preparation
• Continuous improvement of processes and procedures look at ways to improve the processes and procedures of the department

Requirements:
• ACCA/CIMA finalist or newly qualified
• SAP experience is essential
• FMCG/Manufacturing background would be advantageous but not essential
• Available at short notice
• Excellent interpersonal skills
