Our client, a well-known household name. are seeking a dynamic and driven Assistant Accountant. The Assistant Accountant will be given opportunities to learn and develop whilst progressing through this successful retailer. Working within this forward-thinking Finance team, the Assistant Accountant will be responsible for delivering Finance support to key stakeholders across the business.
This role will offer fantastic exposure as you look to gain the relevant experience to become a Qualified Accountant. You will be involved in/responsible for reporting key management information, P&L analysis, reconciliations and delivering improvements.
You will need excellent interpersonal skills as you will be liaising with key stakeholders across the business - the company is growing and so there is plenty for you to get involved in and add value to.
To be successful in the role, you will need to be actively studying your CIMA, ACCA or ACA and have a strong accounting background. You'll be able to work to deadlines with high attention to detail whilst also considering the bigger picture, and you must have the ability to analyse large amounts of data and present the information back to the business in a concise and clear manner. Working knowledge of Excel is required and SQL experience would be beneficial.
