Part qualified ACA ACCA AAT accounts senior in Poole. Varied role with a great firm.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Poole office of this well-established accountancy practice as a Part Qualified Accounts Senior.

This is a varied role where you will be supporting the Family Business team with the preparation of accounts and tax returns, together with bookkeeping services and VAT returns for a wide range of clients.

This work will include completion of annual accounts and tax computations, for both incorporated and un-incorporated businesses with up to £10M turnover; completion of self-assessment tax returns for clients;ensuring accounting records for clients are maintained and kept up to date; completion of quarterly VAT returns; completion of sub-contractors returns and ensuring that CIS requirements are met; complying with internal policies and procedures, ethical standards and regulatory requirements; drafting correspondence for clients; liaising with HMRC, by telephone and email and producing management accounts

To succeed in this role, you will be AAT qualified or qualified by experience and potentially studying for a further related professional qualification eg ACCA. You will need to be experienced in accounts preparation for partnerships/LLPs and limited companies and familiar with personal and business tax regulations, plus VAT and PAYE. You will need to be accurate, analytical and methodical in your approach to work and be able to work independently and demonstrate initiative in delivering an excellent service to clients. Experienced in the use of electronic accounting packages, such as Sage, Xero and Quickbooks would be ideal, as well as competency in the use of Microsoft Office.
