We have an opportunity for an experienced, Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias, to join our clients busy Maintenance Team at their production site in Sandy
Multi skilled maintenance engineer responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment. You will work on various different types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic control systems.
Working on alternating Days / Nights Shift Pattern. You will be responsible for carrying out a range of planned and reactive engineering activities on site operating on a 24/7 shift pattern (Panama shift pattern 2s and 3s).
•A good mechanical working knowledge with electrical experience is essential
•Time served/apprentice trained in a similar position ideally with Electrical qualifications (C&G 2320 P1 & P2, ONC, NVQ 3 or equivalent)
•A thorough understanding of the IEE 18th edition
•A good knowledge and understand of PLC's, preferably Allen Bradley
•Excellent communication skills with a sound working knowledge of MS Packages
•Experience in mechanical fitting, hydraulics and pneumatics will be an advantage
