Urgent Requirement: Support Worker /Healthcare Assistant/Registered Nurse
IMPACT Care services is hiring committed and compassionate HCA/SW/RGNs to join our friendly, professional team at Private mental health hospital.
Location:
Priory Hospital Hemel Hempstead : Longcroft Lane, Felden, Hemel Hempstead, HP3 0BN
Priory Hospital Hemel Hempstead is a 38-bedded rehabilitation and recovery service, which offers a safe and supportive complex care facility for male and female patients with enduring mental health problems. It provides comfortable and calm atmosphere that promotes recovery and wellbeing .They focus on positive strategies encompassing care, compassion, courage, competency, commitment, and communication, when making a difference in dementia/degenerative brain disorders.
Due to the concerns and spread of COVID -19, they are taking extra precautions for the safety of their service users, employees and candidates
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Observing and monitoring the wellbeing of patients .
-Assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed to facilitate the wellbeing, dignity and treatment of all patients.
-Providing practical support and responsive and personal care if required .
-Contributing to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the multidisciplinary team.
-Participating in regular ward meetings and attend other meetings as requested.
-Assisting in the maintenance of ward cleanliness and tidiness and adhere to infection control policy and procedures at all times.
-Maintaining good professional relationship with patients, colleagues and visitors responding promptly and courteously to requests and enquiries.
Requirements:
-Understanding the needs of elderly patients.
-Dealing young adults with mental health
-Practical Experience (essential)
-Ability to adapt within a mental health environment.
-Car Owner/Current Driving Licence, Desirable but not essential
Profile: Health Care Assistant/Support Worker/Registered Nurse
Salary/Payrate: upto £10 per hour
Joining: Immediate
Shift: Full time /Part time/Day/Night/Long day /Flexible working hours
