Chemotherapy Nurse

Our well known and respected client is looking for an experienced full-time Chemotherapy Nurse to join a nationally recognised specialist provider. This community based critical nursing role is located in the Kent catchment area. Your salary is up to £37,816 per annum plus fully expensed company car and fuel card or £4,250 car allowance per annum plus mileage.

You'll typically see 4 to 5 patients per day and work in close partnership with the NHS and pharmaceutical partners. As the full-time Registered Nurse in the Kent catchment area paying up to £37,816 per annum, you will be working for a company which provide a catalogue of care services to patients nationwide, with this particular role mainly focusing on administering chemotherapy in the comfort of the patient's home. As a Chemotherapy Nurse, you will provide excellent standards of education and clinical care.

As a Chemo nurse with an active NMC PIN, you will have:

• Experience of community-based work is desirable but not essential

• A full UK driving license

• Experience within the acute setting and competent in the administration of chemotherapy, cytotoxic drugs, cannulation and clinical assessments

You'll need to be a natural listener and communicator and a dedicated healthcare provider. Using your healthcare experience, empathetic skills and broader nursing experience, you'll be one of the primary sources of information and advice for patients and their families.
