Our client is a leading national firm of Accountants with an excellent reputation for client service.

As Tax Director in the Reading Office, you will be overseeing a mixed Department of Personal Tax, Corporation Tax and R & D claims. You will have a clear route to partnership in 1-2 years. Overseeing the compliance process, you will support the Tax Partner closely to deliver tax advisory services and adding value with your expertise. You will manage the tax team by hearing the voice of your team members, conducting appraisals, provide coaching of assignments to support the development of team skills and knowledge and continually improve the quality and delivery of work. As part of your own development, you will establish strong working relationships with everyone in the firm.

As you will be the mentor to several colleagues, previous Mixed Tax experience in a similar role within a practice environment is essential. A strong technical knowledge and the ability to carry out research into complex areas of tax legislation. In terms of qualifications, they are ideally be looking for a CTA and possibly ACA (or equivalent) qualified Tax specialist.
