A reputable business in East Lancashire are seeking an Assistant Accountant on a 12 month fixed term contract for a maternity cover. This is an attractive company to work for with competitive benefits and a well know name that will enhance your CV. Working in modern offices and within an established and supportive Accounts team your main duties will include:
  • Assisting the Finance Manager with month end preparations
  • Supporting the ledger team with reconciliations
  • Managing the company expenses
  • Ad-hoc reporting across the business supporting Financial decisions

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a similar role, ideally be AAT qualified and have a desire to work in a fast paced and rewarding environment. Strong IT and Excel skills are advantageous however some training will be provided. This contract will offer good exposure in a well rounded role which will enhance your CV for future career progression.
