A specialist school based in Leicester requires an SEN TA to support a small class of pupils with Autism starting in April 2021.
All applicants must be NVQ Level 2/3 qualified or equivalent and have a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role. You must have experience working with special needs or have experience with children with ASD and challenging behaviour.
You must be passionate about bringing the best outcome for the child you will be working with and above all understanding of the child's individual needs. You must have very strong communication skills and work very closely with the class teacher and parents to ensure that the child makes progress both socially and academically each week.
