Carbon60 are currently working alongside one the UK largest manufacturing companies to recruit an experienced maintenance engineer for a 6 month contract based in Maidenhead. This specific site is a crossover between FMCG and Pharmaceutical and we are looking to candidates that come from either of these sectors that have worked within a busy automated factory.

This position will focus on mechanical maintenance but will have some elements of electrical as well due the nature of the equipment on site. Speed of repair is the key for the maintenance role.

This will be on a 3 shift pattern, two AM, two PM, two nights followed by 4 days off, a shift uplift will be applied (for more information on this shifts and the uplift please contact Carbon60)

Responsibilities will include:

Diagnosing and rectifying the root cause of mechanical faults.
Perform corrective and planned maintenance throughout the site.
Conduct root cause analysis on all faults.
Take step to reduce downtime and consistent faults.
Adhere to and maintain quality standards
Adhere to the company health and safety procedures
Ensure GMP standards are maintained throughout the site.
Review and highly engineering documentation.
Support the production engineers as and when needed.This is an excellent opportunity to work for a highly established company that values its contractors and there skills.
