Axon Moore are looking for an interim Finance Transformation Project Manager for a 6 month FTC role based in Warrington.

As Interim Finance Transformation Project Manager, you will be supporting a well-known Business that is undergoing major change/transformation. The Finance Project Manager will play a key role within the finance team in ensuring the delivery of the finance transformation project in changing / improving processes, system and supporting the finance team.

The individual will be responsible in assisting the Head of Finance Shared Services in delivering the Finance Transformation Plan by implementing project controls but also working closely with the business to deliver the improvements. Examples are; ERP improvements, process improvements, process mapping, process documentation, change management, risk mitigation.

The role requires a hands-on approach in delivering the improvements required to achieve the roadmap and standards we want to set for the Shared Service Centre.

Duties:
  • Manage the plan to track project performance and manage / highlight any risks
  • Work closely with the project teams to ensure delivery of all deliverables
  • Work with individuals in the business to assist in project changes / requirements
  • Manage the stakeholder relationship and all project communications
  • Own and deliver the project reporting
  • Create & develop spreadsheets, diagrams, process documents and process maps
  • Assist in process development and implement improvements
  • Manage the project meetings
  • Map and ensure resource availability
  • Manage changes to scope
  • Log risks, improvements and dependencies
  • Pick up ad hoc projects as required
Person Specification:
  • Qualified Accountant
  • Agile and able to deal with a complex organisation with many moving parts
  • Proactive, able to work autonomously and switch hats on a regular basis
  • Strong Man Manager
  • Strong experience in Transformation / Change / SSC environment
  • Strong financial reporting and controls background
  • Good understanding of R2R, P2P, O2C and Treasury and have managed teams through transition and change previously
  • Project management experience in a finance environment
